University of Jammu Recruitment: Project Assistant Position Announced
The University of Jammu has opened applications for one Project Assistant under a research project funded by the J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council (JKSTIC). The role is initially for one year, extendable for another year depending on the candidate’s performance.
Project Overview
Project Title: Development of Luminescent Lanthanide Coordination Polymers/Metal-Organic Frameworks as Chemical Sensors
Project Duration: 24 months
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Chemistry with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from a recognized university or institute. Only full-time degree holders will be considered.
Salary
The appointed candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹15,000.

Separate interview letters will not be issued.
The selection process will strictly follow the JKSTIC guidelines.

- The position is purely temporary and contractual in nature. Renewal will depend on annual performance and the recommendation of the Principal Investigator (PI).
